Welcome to Essington Surfacing Ltd. These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the agreement between you (the Customer) and us (Essington Surfacing Ltd) for any residential driveways, paving, drop kerbs, groundwork, or commercial surfacing we carry out. By accepting a project quote or booking work, you agree to these Terms.
1. Quotes, Pricing, and Electronic Records
All project quotes supplied following our Free Site Survey are provided as a fixed, written price and remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, we reserve the right to amend the pricing to reflect potential changes in material and aggregate costs.
All site surveys, digital requests, and project quotes are processed securely through our **GoHighLevel (GHL)** systems. By submitting your details on our site, you consent to receive technical project specification updates, written quotes, and appointment confirmations electronically.
2. Scheduling and Weather
Surfacing materials—specifically resin aggregate blends and hot tarmacwear courses—require precise outdoor conditions to cure correctly. We schedule installations carefully, but we reserve the right to delay starting or completing groundwork if heavy rain, frost, or extreme temperatures present a risk to the structural finish of your surface.
3. Council Approvals (Drop Kerbs)
For official drop kerb installations, vehicle crossings must be approved by the relevant local highways department. If you request us to manage the NRSWA council permit paperwork on your behalf, we will act diligently, but we are not responsible for delays caused by the local authority's administrative timeline.
4. Sub-Base and Site Preparation
To provide a long-lasting surface, we excavate and lay robust, compacted aggregate sub-bases. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that any utilities, pipelines, or drainage pipes located under the planned groundwork area are disclosed during our site assessment. We are not liable for pre-existing, non-standard structural weaknesses under the property's subsoil that were not made clear to our team.
5. Payments and Guarantees
Payment terms, including any required deposit schedule, will be detailed clearly in your written quote. Final payment is due immediately upon practical project completion and handoff. We back our workmanship and structural sub-base preparation with a comprehensive guarantee. This warranty does not cover damage caused by heavy commercial vehicles exceeds design load limits, chemical spills (such as engine oil on tarmac), or structural subsidence.
