COMMERCIAL MAINTENANCE

Pothole & Surface Repair

Fast, durable tarmac patching for commercial car parks, industrial estates, and private access roads. We cut out the damage and lay hot macadam to stop potholes turning into larger structural failures.

THE ISSUE

Why quick repairs matter

Potholes are more than just a visual nuisance. For commercial premises, they present a clear trip hazard to pedestrians and risk damaging staff or visitor vehicles.

Once the surface layer breaks, water penetrates the sub-base. During winter, this water freezes and expands, rapidly blowing out the surrounding tarmac. What starts as a minor defect can quickly require costly, large-scale resurfacing if ignored.

RECENT WORK

Commercial Repair in Cannock

Watch our team complete a full structural pothole repair on a commercial site in Cannock.

From the initial square cut-out and clearing of the failed sub-base to the hot tarmac fill and heavy compaction, this is the exact standard we apply to every commercial repair to ensure the defect does not return.

OUR METHOD

How we fix them

We do not use temporary cold-lay bags. We provide a proper structural repair designed to last.

1

Cut & Clear

We saw-cut the perimeter around the defect to create a clean, square edge, then remove all broken material and loose debris.

2

Prepare Base

The exposed base is inspected and coated with a bitumen tack coat to ensure the new material bonds strongly to the existing surface.

3

Hot Lay Tarmac

We fill the prepared area with commercial-grade hot tarmac and compact it mechanically to sit perfectly flush with the surrounding level.

4

Edge Seal

Finally, the joint line between the old and new tarmac is sealed to prevent water ingress and protect the repair from frost damage.

5

Line Painting

If the repair disrupts existing parking bays, yellow lines, or hatched zones, we repaint them so the surface is immediately ready for use.
