Driveway with Block Border
Complete dig-out and new foundational build-up finished with premium machine-laid tarmac and a contrasting block paving border.
We're based in Essington, on Wolverhampton's northern edge - so for most of the city we're minutes away, not a franchise dispatching from somewhere else. We cover every WV postcode with tarmac, resin-bound and block-paved driveways, patios, and commercial surfacing for local businesses.
Plus Walsall, Cannock, Bloxwich and the wider West Midlands.
A lot of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire sits on heavy clay. Clay holds water and moves with the seasons - it swells wet and shrinks dry - which is exactly the movement that breaks shallow, under-built driveways.
It's why our excavation depth, membrane and compacted sub-base aren't "premium extras" around here. They're the difference between a drive that lasts and one that doesn't.
Widening your drive onto the public road means you need a dropped kerb (vehicle crossing). This requires planning permission from City of Wolverhampton Council and must be carried out by a contractor accredited to work on the public highway.
We are fully NRSWA licensed and approved to install drop kerbs across Wolverhampton, Walsall, and South Staffordshire. We can handle the installation cleanly and safely once your council application is approved.
